Stereo types of young black men..
Coming up in south seattle me and my family and teammates were stereo typed alot. At basketball games,football games or just walking around the mall. When i was in high school i was stereo typed alot because of the school i went to and the way i dressed. People would think i was a gangbanger or just a dumb jock. When really i was a 3.8 student and did not gangbang. When our basketball team and football team played white teams we would constantly get cheated and the reffs would treat us diffrent because we were big with tatoos.....

That's true. I get stereotyped a lot because of my skin color and my different background. It makes me think that even though we're now in 2010, some societies haven't changed their views on diversity at all.
ReplyDeleteawww yeah thats just the way the world works. "Haters gonna hate but just remember its mind over matter. I don't mind and you don't matter!" And there was this one football game between Roosevelt and Franklin high school. The refs of that game cheated Franklin and gave them every single penalty while Roosevelt had none. Just think, those guys were so weak they had to cheat to win...
